History
| Since 1971 Salmon Safari has provided enjoyable way for businesses to get their people and customers better acquainted. After the accidental death in 1976 of the originator, Claude Davies, Salmon Safari was taken over by Ray Alt. Many of the original customers continue to return each year. Most of Claude's gourmet recipes are still used and supplies procured from the same sources. In 1982 a second cabin or fishing lodge was constructed across the street from the original cabin. Another boat almost identical to the Time Out named the American, was acquired. In 1991 Salmon Safari was incorporated with Ray Alt as President and Dixie Alt as Secretary/Treasurer. |  |
