COMPANY BACKGROUND
NCC's owner and senior consultant is Tyler Evans. He graduated with honors from ITT, Seattle, in 1966 and worked as a systems/analyst programmer on the Hanford Nuclear Project in Washington State for 5 years. He graduated from Washington State University in 1974 with a BA in Business Administration/Accounting/Data Processing. He worked his way through his six years of college training as a programmer/analyst and systems analyst. From 1974 through 1976 he was Data Processing Manager for Battelle Memorial Institute (The people who invented the XEROX process) and was a senior consultant for the international accounting firm of Price, Waterhouse & Co. From 1977-1984 he worked for Washington Public Power Supply System as a Senior Systems Analyst in charge of corporate general ledger, payroll and word processing and for U&I (the sugar company) as Manager of Programming.
| Along with his career at WPPSS and U&I in 1978 he started a consulting business, TYDEN Consultants, in the evenings and weekends for then new micro-computers. In 1984 he went full time as TYDEN Consultants in the Yakima Valley area of Central Washington State. The business grew to 4 offices and over 25 professional staff from 1984-1995. During this time TYDEN Consultants installed, serviced and maintained custom software and micro-computer systems for thousands of business, government and home computer users. TYDEN Consultants was spun-off to his son in 1996 and Tyler and his wife Deanna moved to "the coast". | ![]() |
He and Deanna now reside in Seaside, Oregon where they operate North Coast Consulting specializing in PC standalone, networked and WAN'd pc's using the Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP operating systems and Internet Web Design and commerce. He also is the local representative for Harborside Internet.
