Cape Disappointment Lighthouse marks the entrance to the
Columbia River for ships returning from the sea.

The ominous lighthouse at Destruction
Island, Washington.

North Head Light House in Illwaco, Washington, this
picture was taken a few months
 before the lighthouse was painted.

Destruction Island Lighthouse (about half way up the
coast of Washington a couple miles off shore is Destruction Island).
One of the ones we can only get to by Helicopter

North Head Light House more recently, the nice folks over at the Ft. Canby State Park (Janet Schonk is the person, more specifically, that had the job contracted) had a contractor come in and paint the white of the lighthouse structure.

Standing only 38 feet tall Cape Meares Lighthouse is the
shortest lighthouse on the west coast, although it has a focal plane 212 feet above sea level.

Grays Harbor Lighthouse in Westport, Washington sits inland
approximately two miles and is surrounded by a campground (which is open to
the public through the U.S. Coast Guard Station Grays Harbor)

Note:
Note: Cape Disappointment (Cape "D") marks the entrance to the Columbia River for mariners returning from the south. Many years ago it was noticed that mariners returning from the north could not see the light until they had passed the entrance to the River. So it was authorized the construction of a second lighthouse only two miles away, yet around the point of land. The location of this light could be seen when approaching the river from the north. Thus we have North Head Lighthouse. It was important that these lights not be seen from each respective direction as not to confuse the mariner.
